Before the creator economy emerged, Colin and Samir were establishing the rubrics for viral success. Experts in storytelling, community building, and creative entrepreneurship, they bring over a decade of experience building online media companies and advising founders on how to balance creative output and business needs.
From their hypothesis that we should look at creators as millions of small businesses, you can understand why their ability to translate content into commerce keeps subscribers engaged and their fan base growing to nearly 2 million followers across platforms. Their podcast, The Colin and Samir Show invites creators and guests to speak freely about their experience developing careers in the industry. Their newsletter, The Publish Press, publishes three times a week with curated stories, expert content, and the latest in creator economy news.
Beyond content, they provide insights into building and maintaining a sticky community. While helpful for the individual influencer, these tactics also serve corporations focused on retaining employees and building corporate culture. They partnered with companies such as Shopify, StoryBlocks, and Samsung.
Their pivot from content creation to community building is the engine that drives Colin and Samir's success. They have forged a path few had the vision to imagine. Recalling their own failures, they have designed an eco-system that supports creative entrepreneurs delivering content "about Creators, for Creators.
